Fees & Free TAFE

Your fees each year can be made up of several elements:

1. Tuition fees are charged at an hourly rate that varies by course. The Victorian Government subsidises a large portion of the tuition for eligible students.
2. Resource and/or materials costs - covers the cost of materials and other incidentals. This fee will vary according to the course being undertaken.
3. Booklist items - such as textbooks, equipment and stationery recommended for your course
4. Student Services Fee - contributes to the provision of student engagement, learning and support services (see below)

Your fees will be calculated at the time of enrolment. Any additional enrolment will attract the appropriate additional fees. Students not eligible for government-subsidised fees will pay the fee-for-service rate.

The student tuition fees and course information as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment and/or changes in government policy.

Fees are required to be paid upfront and in full at the time of enrolment, this includes the tuition and any course consumables. If it is not possible to make full payment at the time of enrolment, we have payment plans available to allow you to pay your fees in instalments.

Student Services Fee

An annual Student Services Fee (SSF) contributes to the provision of student engagement, learning and support services

• The fee is only paid once per annum, even if you are enrolled in multiple courses.
• The fee also applies to Free TAFE students.
• The fee is non-refundable once your course has started.
